Description
System information
- Windows OS version: Windows 11 Pro
- ImageGlass version: 9.3.0.514 (64-bit)
- ImageGlass release: Classic
Describe the feature
The ability to view files from an Explorer search was recently added, and that's wonderful. Sadly, there's no way to view those results in a random order.
If "Use Explorer sort order if possible" is checked, then ImageGlass goes through image in the Explorer order (which cannot be set to random). This overrides all other options.
If "Use Explorer sort order..." is unchecked, and the Loading Order is set to Random, then ImageGlass will show random images from the base folder of the file currently being viewed.
I would very much like if these two settings could be combined. I would like to use the Explorer search results, but the ImageGlass sort order, so that I can say, search all images with [x] tag and then browse those images in a random order.

Research direction
Start by tracing how Explorer search results are loaded and how the “Use Explorer sort order if possible” and Loading Order settings interact. Confirm completion by browsing a filtered Explorer result set in random order without reverting to the base folder.
