Description
System information
- Windows OS version: 11
- ImageGlass version: 9.2.0.1208
- ImageGlass release: Classic
Describe the feature
- Ability to manually mark images as viewed/studied/"done", or just generically "flag" or even tag them.
- Slideshow option to auto-flag images when their timer is up.
- Slideshow or loading option to skip flagged or non-flagged images.
- Maybe the ability to easily flag or unflag multiple images.
- Maybe more options than just "flag", such as favorite, like, or add multiple tags, but that's all secondary. But if that's implemented the ability to skip images with or without these attributes would be good.
How to use feature
- A "flag" option on the Image menu, could be also available as a toolbar button.
- "Auto-flag images when timer ends" and "Skip Images: [] Flagged [] Unflagged" checkboxes on the Slideshow settings
Additional context
I'm an illustrator and, like many ImageGlass users, I'm interested in the slideshow feature for study sessions. I like that I can just open my gigantic reference folder in random order, including subfolders, and start a slideshow from there, that's perfect. I do not like that I have to manually skip images I already studied before, that's why I want to "flag" them somehow.
I have an AutoHotkey script that helps with what I need, a bit amateurishly (I save the studied images' paths to a .txt log, since it's tricky to add tags to certain image formats) and I was planning on sharing it online soon, but ImageGlass is so close to what I want that I would prefer if it already had these features so that I could simply spread the word about it to other artists.

Research direction
The issue names no files or tests. Start by locating the Image menu and slideshow settings, then clarify the scope of image flags, automatic flagging, filtering, and bulk actions; the work is done when the agreed flag and skip behaviors are available in those areas.
