Description
Asymptotic result may depend on whether we allow reclaiming memory.
To supplement this, we could have two versions, "managed" and "unmanaged" (current version)
The managed version can be implemented using something like https://gemini.google.com/share/6519fda7aea2

Research direction
Start by reviewing the current Python implementation and its checks to understand how memory use affects the asymptotic result. Define the distinction between the current unmanaged version and a managed version, then update the examples or checks so the two models and their results are clearly represented.
