Description

### Discussed in https://github.com/cxw42/TabFern/discussions/359

I've just started using TabFern, which I found when looking for alternatives to Tabs Outliner, so this may be a very premature question, but: do you have opinions on whether you'd accept code contributions that were developed with the assistance of AI? In my case, I'm thinking of Claude specifically, but your response needn't be limited to that.

I read CONTRIBUTING.md before coming here, just to be sure this hadn't already been covered there. Might be worth adding an answer there.

Given where things are going in the world, I suspect you wouldn't be against AI-developed code being part of a contribution, but I always feel better asking rather than assuming.

Thanks!

Research direction

Start by reading CONTRIBUTING.md and the linked discussion #359 to identify the project's agreed position on AI-assisted contributions. Update CONTRIBUTING.md with that policy and verify that the guidance answers the question without conflicting with existing contribution requirements.
