Description
It would be nice to be able to, from the application/website, edit the imported sounds in basic ways. For example, some sounds have long, silent starts or ends, which would be nice to be able to remove. Also, some sounds are just really long and it would be nice to be able to shorten them.

Research direction
Start by tracing how the application or website imports and stores sounds, since no specific files or tests are named. Define the basic editing scope around removing silent starts or ends and shortening long sounds; done means imported sounds can be adjusted in those ways from the application or website.
