Not clear what to do after initial pull

Say someone wants a fast allocator: they've read some of the docs and pull the library.

It's very unclear what they should do and how they should do it.

Part of this is because it was originally created as a boost library.

So, either continue to try and make it a boost library or throw all the boostishness away and make it easier to use.
