Description

**Describe the bug**
I'm unable to upgrade to v2.0.0. It keeps "Launching.." when restarting Specter desktop.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. After opening and connecting successfully to Bitcoin core.
2. Click on Specter preferences and change daemon configuration from v1.14.5 to v2.0.0 and tick the box 'Re-download from GitHub'.
4. Save settings and message to restart specter appears.
5. Restart Specter and then it fetches new lib and clears things but then message "Launching ... " keeps displaying.

**Expected behavior**
Expected to upgrade to v2.0.0

**Screenshots**
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem. No screenshots but attached log file of upgrade.

**Desktop:**
- Where is your node running: Umbrel -> on RaspberryPi
- Where is your specter running: Windows laptop in HWIbridge mode.
- If you're running a binary, which OS: Windows
- Browser chrome
- Specter Version 1.14.5

**Additional context**
Attached log when upgrading to v2.0.0.0 and then again downgrading to v1.14.5 which is still working well.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the attached logs-toV2.txt and the Preferences daemon configuration flow described in the report. Reproduce the upgrade from v1.14.5 to v2.0.0 in Windows HWIbridge mode, then trace the restart path where the application remains on "Launching ...". Done means the upgrade completes and Specter Desktop starts normally without requiring a downgrade.
