Description

I am using SeedSigner, and often using the internal webcam of my computer causes lots of glare issues. I have an external USB camera which is of higher quality with better auto-focus.

It could be a cool feature to be able to select between multiple cameras in specter. Currently my workaround is luckily my laptop has a button to turn off power to the internal camera.

It would also be a cool feature to be able to adjust camera brightness/contrast, etc settings, like you can in the linux Guvcview software.

Research direction

Start by tracing the existing camera capture path in the desktop application and compare its device and settings handling with the issue's Guvcview reference. Done means users can choose among connected cameras and adjust brightness, contrast, or other exposed camera settings, with the reported glare scenario addressed.
