Description

Implicit object creation behaves somehow like placement new-expression (see CWG2533). So it seems to me that implicit object creation can also reuse storage.

However, we haven't mentioned this in [basic.life]. Do we need some clarification? Should we clarify this editorially?

Research direction

Start with the [basic.life] wording and CWG2533, then examine how implicit object creation is described relative to placement new-expressions. Done means reaching a decision on whether clarification is needed and recording the resulting standards-draft wording if it is.
