Description

Similarly for [mdspan.extents.expo] and maybe others. The title of the subclause is "Exposition-only helpers" but I don't think titles are normative, so we should start the subclause with something like "the following exposition-only funtions are used ..."

Research direction

Inspect the [mdspan.sub.helpers] and [mdspan.extents.expo] subclauses in the draft, starting with their headings and opening text. Check whether the prose explicitly identifies the functions as exposition-only, and review similar subclauses for the same omission. Done means the affected subclauses state that status normatively and consistently.
