Description

Created originally in Butane by @travier: https://github.com/coreos/butane/issues/515

The GRUB section is documented while it is not supported by the MCO.

AFAIU this section is not translated to Ignition config so this is less of a problem but still, this is not ideal.

See https://issues.redhat.com/browse/MCO-630 for the MCO support side of things.

Research direction

Start with the OpenShift 4.14 and later stable specs documentation and review the GRUB section described in this issue. Compare its documented support with MCO-630 and the linked Butane issue; done means the specs no longer document GRUB as supported by the MCO.
