Research direction

Start by reviewing the go-getter project and the requested Git URL form https://github.com/foo/bar.git//ignition?ref=v1.0.1, then determine how remote Ignition files and authentication should be handled. Done means Ignition supports go-getter sources with an agreed authentication approach; the issue names no repository files or tests to run.
