Meal planner for the week with shopping list integration

I am currently using an app called recipe keeper which is quite nice and has a lot of the features this project has. However, one feature this project lacks is a meal planner. I would like to be able to have an overview of the next few day or week where I can plan ahead what i will eat. This can also be linked to the shopping list so you can plan your meal, add all to the shopping list, review and go shop for your groceries.

The issue names no files or tests. Start by tracing the existing recipe and shopping-list flows in the CLI and embedded web server; define the planning view, date range, and how planned ingredients are transferred and reviewed in the shopping list, then verify the complete weekly workflow.
