Search function doesn't return new results

**Describe the bug**
Search is inconsistent, but mostly doesn't return searches past May or January of this year in some cases. I checked the filesystem and the logs are there.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to search on the sidebar
2. Type in @nick

**Expected behavior**
Showing me logs from today, when I know there are logs available.

**Environment:**
- OS: Docker on Ubuntu 22.04 - Docker version 20.10.21, build 20.10.21-0ubuntu1~22.04.3
- Browser Chrome and Firefox tested - same outcome
- Version 7.15

**Additional context**
Tested #channel and simple text and it's also very inconsistent, but mostly not new results.

Start from the sidebar search entry point and reproduce the issue in version 7.15 with @nick, #channel, and simple-text searches. Check how recent logs are selected and confirm that logs from today appear when they exist; the issue is resolved when new results are returned consistently.
