example recipes in one place

It would help if there were more example recipes gathered in one place, especially ones illustrating commonly-encountered idioms and workarounds. Checking out the feedstocks meta-repository, and initializing and updating all the modules takes a very long time, and is prone to failing and not finishing due to transient errors. I often find myself grepping through bioconda recipes for examples of how to do something, since they're all in one place; it would be great to have that ability with conda-forge.
