Description
Currently in our ["Using multiple channels" doc section]( https://conda-forge.org/docs/user/tipsandtricks.html#using-multiple-channels ), we discuss using `defaults` with `conda-forge` and how to order them.
https://github.com/conda-forge/conda-forge.github.io/blob/4eba0f0a24eb132163394fbf50c19224c503d657/src/user/tipsandtricks.rst?plain=1#L7-L73
However since this text was written, `conda-forge` became a completely self-contained channel. Given the issues users often run into with mixing `defaults` with `conda-forge`, am wondering whether this text is something we want in its current form. Some thoughts on how to modernize this text:
1. Update text to point out `conda-forge` is self-contained. Though note it can be combined with other channels. Include an example adding `defaults`
2. Same as 1, but show an example with `bioconda`
3. Same as 1, but show an arbitrary channel added on top of `conda-forge`
4. Something else?
Would be interested to hear what others think about how we might update this doc

Research direction
Start with the “Using multiple channels” section in src/user/tipsandtricks.rst, linked in the issue, and review the current guidance about defaults and conda-forge. First resolve which modernization approach the discussion supports; done means the section reflects that decision and includes the agreed channel examples.
