Research direction
Start by reading CommonMark rule 4 for list items and reproducing the two examples in the issue through the linked Dingus. Then trace how commonmark.js parses a blockquote whose continuation is slightly misaligned inside a list, and compare the result with the rule. Done means confirming the expected behavior and correcting the parser with a regression check if the implementation is wrong.
