Description

There might be a risk of corruption when compiling a document that relies on another document. It could happen thusly: The user builds. Then the user changes the branch/commit version of an external document. The next time the user builds, it will be with the old document (unless the user cleans it out).

Research direction

No file, test, or entry point is named. Start by tracing how compilation resolves referenced external documents, then reproduce a build after changing the referenced branch or commit. Done means a subsequent build uses the updated document rather than an old cached copy.
