Description

The default behavior for tables defined with tag is to have it be left aligned and non-bolded, which is different from how other tables are handled. The bolding can be manually corrected but HTML

tags are deprecated so it would be preferred to have this be handled automatically (also unsure whether the tag would even work as it may center the text on the whole page and not whatever the table span is)

Research direction

Start in the transforms repository by locating how tables denoted with the tag are handled and compare that behavior with the other table transforms. Inspect the generated HTML to confirm the header alignment and bolding, then verify that the output is consistent without relying on deprecated

tags.
