Description

### Describe the car bug

Vehicle:
2026 Honda Ridgeline TrailSport (US)

Hardware:
- Comma 4
- Honda Nidec harness

Software tested:
- Official openpilot 0.11.1
- SunnyPilot dev 2026.06.09-4541

Problem:
The vehicle is not recognized and only enters Dashcam Mode.

Official openpilot displays:
"Your car is either unsupported or its ECUs are not recognized."

SunnyPilot reports:
"No vehicle detected / Not fingerprinted."

Factory Honda Sensing (LKAS and Adaptive Cruise Control) work normally.

Troubleshooting completed:
- Verified Honda Nidec harness
- Tested both official openpilot and SunnyPilot
- Same behavior on both
- 39-minute route successfully uploaded to comma Connect

Comma Device ID:

I am happy to test development branches or provide additional information.

Research direction

Start with the linked comma Connect route and compare the captured vehicle data with the repository's existing Honda support. Review how the reported hardware, software versions, and vehicle details relate to fingerprint recognition. Done means the 2026 Honda Ridgeline TrailSport is recognized instead of entering Dashcam Mode, with validation from a development build or additional route.
