Description
Possibly after the latest SW update from Tesla on my 2022 Model Y (HW3) Openpilot started to not recognize the vehicle at the startup and goes into dashcam mode. Not 100% certain the update was the direct culprit because I was trying out Sunnypilot also which couldn’t recognize the car either at first but could manually select vehicle through the Sunnylink app. Openpilot cannot be manually paired. Can this issue be resolved in near future?

Research direction
Begin by reproducing startup recognition on the 2022 Model Y with HW3 and checking whether the Tesla software update is related. Compare the failure with the reported Sunnypilot behavior and manual vehicle selection. Done means Openpilot recognizes the vehicle at startup instead of entering dashcam mode.
