Description
### Describe the car bug
**Vehicle**: 2025 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition
**Device**: Comma 4 (full install, including OBD-II cable)
**Open Pilot Version**: 0.10.3
**Route**: 40f1375bfd7dae06/00000004--c2c019f5e3/2
**Issue Summary**: Multiple dashboard error warnings appear on startup when the Comma 4 has remained powered/connected between ignition cycles (i.e., the device stays "on" while the car is off).
_Detailed Description_:
This problem occurs specifically when the Comma 4 has been left connected and active across multiple car starts (e.g., the car is turned off but the Comma remains powered, then the car is restarted later).
When I start the vehicle in this state the dashboard lights up like a "Christmas tree" with numerous error messages:
- Affected systems include (but are not limited to):
- Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS)
- Transmission
- Adaptive Cruise Control / other driver-assist features
- Multiple other subsystems (brakes, stability control, etc.)
All of them display messages like "See Dealer" or indicate the systems are disabled/needing service.
_Temporary Workaround (which clears the errors immediately)_:
- Unplug the Comma 4 (disconnect the USB-C cable).
- Restart the vehicle (turn it off and back on).
- The dashboard clears and all errors disappear.
- Once everything is normal, plug the USB-C back in to boot/reconnect the Comma 4.
This resolves the issue every time, and the Comma functions normally afterward until the next time it stays powered between starts
I've captured logs from an occurrence of this issue and uploaded everything I could (routes, logs, etc.) to comma connect. The idea from the preserved upload: 40f1375bfd7dae06/00000004--c2c019f5e3/2
Thank you and let me know if you need further information or sharing settings changed on the route.

Research direction
Start by reviewing the preserved route and uploaded logs for the 2025 Honda Ridgeline startup sequence, then inspect the vehicle-specific CAN/DBC data in opendbc. The issue names no file, test, or entry point; done would require identifying a reproducible cause and defining the necessary code or database change, with a regression check for ignition cycles.
