improve zoom

There's lot of issues that I've come across from just wanting to zoom in and out that just makes the map hard to use.

The video shows how zooming glitches, iPhone doesn't show touches so I'll upload one with touches once I have my pixel in use.

[on iPhone XS Firefox Browser] What I've experienced / what to fix:

- [ ] zooming w/ pinch gives inconsistent results, often times just not working at all after several attempts
- [ ] zooming w/ pinch can occasionally cause zoom to only work with one tap instead of pinch. Resulting in single tap drag being broken resulting in an app restart by user.
- [ ] Zoom w/ double tap is not consistent, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't work.
- [ ] Zoom w/ double tap + drag adjustment doesn't exist. This makes zooming in/out with one hand possible.
