Attempting to use this with a custom playlist array

Is it possible to use a custom array of track objects? For example, I'm pulling Spotify tracks from playlists and then creating an array with Track objects--each track object includes the preview URL (in mp3) and other fields which I'm using throughout my project.

Or would I have to create an array that follows the specs found in the documentation?
