Poll Plugin Help

Hi everyone! I'm working on implementing my own poll plugin. I was wondering if anyone had an example of how to implement it @gohabereg answered a question before and said it would be best to implement it ourselves because of the complex backend. Does anyone have any examples or resources I could use to correctly build it? Thank you in advance!
