Description of the problem
Cannot delete template sandbox that is listed in the recent page
How has this issue affected you? What are you trying to accomplish?
Can't delete sandboxes marked as template that I want to remove in recent page
To Reproduce
- Create a sanbox and mark as template.
- Navigate to recent page of codesandbox.
- Try to delete the template sandbox using delete option in right click menu.
- It won't be deleted and gives error in devtools.
Link to sandbox: link (optional)
Your Environment
| Software | Name/Version |
|---|---|
| Сodesandbox | |
| Browser | Version 127.0.6533.73 |
| Operating System | Windows 11 Home 23H2 |
It seems the template id required to delete the sandbox is not present.
I think its because, the sandboxes variable sandboxes.RECENT_SANDBOXES does not contain template data.

Research direction
Start from the Recent page and the delete action in its right-click menu, then inspect how sandboxes.RECENT_SANDBOXES supplies data for template sandboxes. Reproduce the failure with a template sandbox and use the developer-tools error to trace the missing template id. Done means a template sandbox can be deleted from Recent without an error.
