Description
I created a Vanilla sandbox, and I am not using any configuration files other than package.json. I was trying to rename a folder in that sandbox, and when I did so an error message popped up saying that there was an error renaming the folder. When I refreshed the page, the folder and all of its contents were gone. Is there any way I can recover what was inside the folder?

Research direction
Reproduce the folder rename in a Vanilla sandbox using only package.json, then observe the error and whether refreshing removes the folder contents. Trace the rename flow from that reproduction; done means a failed rename no longer deletes the folder or its contents, and the recovery behavior is documented.
