Unwanted 'locale' field displayed on registration page

Bonjour,

Lorsque l'on active la "localisation" des textes afin de bénéficier des traductions françaises ...

... cela active un champ "locale" sur le formulaire d'inscription, alors que le champ lui même n'est pas affiché.

Est-ce un problème de configuration sur mon instance ?

Est-il possible de détecter ce cas particulier pour ne pas afficher le champ tout court ?
