Not able to covert from browse souse only setup to edit .

Not able to covert from browse souse only setup to edit . here when i open source i can see browse option . Though i have changed the setting for "Code for IBM i" to edit . The setting seems not saving and there is no option to save the new settings.

path taken:

extensions--Code for IBM i---settings - default open mode - edit (previously was browse this setup is not saved)

Reproduce the issue through Extensions → Code for IBM i → Settings → Default open mode, changing the value from browse to edit and opening a source. Inspect the extension's handling of this setting and verify that the change persists and newly opened sources use edit mode.
