Description

for NeedNow, this specifically refers to the shelters at Heading Home and First Church--

on the one hand, an individual who wants to access these services cannot do so directly.

on the other hand, a service provider who is using the app on behalf of a client may be able to connect her or him to the service.

on the third hand (we're mutated, ok?), it is functionally pretty rare that even a provider could actually get someone into one of these shelters on the same day.

thoughts? should we not show them at all? show them on the off chance that someone might get lucky? maybe weight them in the results so they always show up last?

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are named. First clarify whether referral-only shelters should be hidden, shown with a warning, or ranked last; the work is done when the team agrees on one policy and its expected result behavior.
