Description

Describe the bug
https://github.com/vgvassilev/clad has been using codecov for years. Recently codecov/patch stopped working and as recommended I regenerated the tokens which seems to have fixed the issue. However the codecov/project seems that is not properly updated. I've tried to reinstall the github codecov app but that did not help, either.

I also noticed that the webhooks are giving 403 but I cannot verify if that's due to the new changes. Note this is a personal repository not an org repository where things might just work...

Expected behavior
Should work as before.

Regression
Since recent changes in codecov. See codecov/codecov-action#1855

Research direction

Start by reviewing codecov/codecov-action#1855 and the linked GitHub Actions run, then inspect the codecov/project check and reported webhook 403 across the listed GitHub Actions and CircleCI setups. Done means the project coverage check is updated successfully for a personal GitHub repository using codecov-action@v5.
