Description

(Related to #15 and #16)

Is it easy to add support for ES6 block scoping for let and const?

It's somewhat meaningless (and even confusing) to have let and const but no block scoping for them, because it's the main difference between them and var.

Research direction

Start by reviewing related issues #15 and #16, then locate the existing handling for let and const in the interpreter. Done means those declarations follow ES6 block-scoping behavior rather than only the current non-block-scoped behavior.
