Description
Ale least in Javascript it is not possible to nest function calls.
e.g.
outer(1);
function inner(data) {
return data + 1;
}
function outer(data) {
return inner(data);
}
fails with message
Cannot read property 'value' of undefined

Research direction
Reproduce the JavaScript example with nested outer and inner calls and inspect the source of the “Cannot read property 'value' of undefined” error. Identify the execution path responsible for the failure; done means the example runs successfully and returns the expected nested-call result.
