Verification of value in <select> with "I.seeInField" fails with WebDriver

I want to report a *defect*.
The defect is about `I.seeInField`. When I want to use it to verify a `` field has the expected value, it fails with WebDriver, but passes with Playwright. Not sure when it started. It was today the first time I wanted to use `I.seeInField`. Thatswhy I am not sure since when this defect exists.

Steps to reproduce:
