Description

PROBLEMS:
*The sidebar adds clutter, and I don't really use it.
*There are features in an other extension called Unhook that I would Like to see in this one.

SOLUTION:
*I'd like to have an option to disable the left sidebar altogether along with the button that toggles it to have a cleaner interface.
*I'd like to see the features that are on Unhook that this extension doesn't have, like disabling the feed (because even if I set the homepage to Search, it sometimes loads the original homepage); hide merch, tickets, offers; hide fundraiser; hide mix radio lists; etc.

These are probably many features in one request, so if you first make the option to disable the left sidebar I'd be really happy, because it's in neither extension.

Thank you a lot! Keep up the good work!

Research direction

The request covers disabling the left sidebar and several additional YouTube features, but it names no files or tests. Start by locating the existing sidebar toggle and related feature settings, then define the sidebar option as the initial scope. Done should include a cleaner interface with the sidebar and its toggle disabled without affecting other requested features.
