Description
Feature Request: Channel-Specific Settings Profiles
Description
Allow users to set different playback behaviors per YouTube channel — e.g., 2x speed for educational channels, 1x for music, higher volume for quiet channels.
Why
- Enhancer for YouTube has this as a top feature
- Heavily requested in ImprovedTube issues (#1760, #1856, #921)
Preferred behavior
- Create profiles tied to channel IDs
- Settings per profile: playback speed, quality, volume, theme
- Auto-detect channel and apply profile
- Default profile for unmapped channels
- Manual override per video

Research direction
The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Begin by mapping the existing channel-detection and playback-settings paths, then define how profiles, defaults, and per-video overrides interact. Done means channel-specific speed, quality, volume, and theme settings are applied with a default profile and manual override.
