Description
YouTube added a new UI with rounded corners, which is so ugly. These rounded corner UI thingies that seem to be a trend are so bad. I have not switched to Windows 11 for that reason (amonghst others), I have not switched to a newer Android for that reason, I will never use iPhone or MacOS for that reason, Vivaldi added it, but thankfully with option to change it back, so immediately did that, and now YouTube joined the bandwagon and added crappy rounded corners in their UI.
I would be so happy if you can somehow get the UI back to flat buttons that don't take up that much space.

Research direction
Start by locating the extension's player UI styles and the code that controls player appearance. Determine whether the current rounded corners can be made optional without affecting other YouTube views, then verify the player in the supported browser extension environment. Done means users can choose the older flat-button appearance while the default behavior remains intact.
