[Urgent] Organizer accidentally deleted a leaderboard submission, can it be restored from backup?

Hi Codabench team,

I'm an organizer of the following competition on codabench.org:

• Competition: https://www.codabench.org/competitions/16047/
• Phase: Final
• Participant username: edith
• Submission ID: "unknown"
• Deleted on: September 16, 2026
• Deleted by: my organizer account (mshahbazkharal), via the competition admin > Submissions panel

While managing submissions a few minutes ago I accidentally deleted this participant's submissions (there were two submissions). The user was top rank on the leaderboard, so losing it materially affects the final competition results. The participant is no longer active and I have no way to contact them to ask for a resubmission.

Since the deletion happened only minutes ago, I'm hoping the submission record (Submission / SubmissionDetails / Data rows) and its stored files in object storage can still be recovered from a recent database/storage backup, or that the deletion has not yet been fully purged.

What I'm asking for: Restore the deleted submissions (and its scores/leaderboard entry) for user "edith" in the phase above, if at all possible.

I'm happy to provide any additional details or to help verify the restored entry.

Start by reviewing the competition admin > Submissions deletion flow and the handling of Submission, SubmissionDetails, and Data records for competition 16047, phase Final, and participant edith. Determine whether recent database or object-storage backups retain the deleted submissions and scores; done means the submissions and leaderboard entry are restored or recovery is shown to be impossible.
