I'm curious where "320 GiB per vCPU" recommendation comes from.
That gets to >1TB / node easily. In the field plenty of production clusters have provisioned storages in ** hundreds of GB per node** if that's all the workload need. This is especially true for cluster provisioned on GP3 or equivalent technologies where IOPS/Throughput can be provisioned independently from the disk size.
