Preparations for repo restructuring

Hi all,

Before restructuring the entire repository in order add some of the new tools while preserving the existing code (as discussed earlier), there are some open issues that need to be resolved in order to keep everything clear and retraceable.

Here is a list of open items:

* `EcalVal_940` (last updated a year ago)
* `RunNanoDST` (see #7 )
* `develop` (last updated 2 years ago)
* `2017-LPCHats` (last updated 2 years ago)
* `devel_71X` (last updated 5 years ago)
* `devel_73X` (last updated 5 years ago)

Which of all the listed changes are still relevant and need to merged into master?

I do not know this codebase, unfortunately, but I am happy to do or help with restructuring of the repository. For this I would need to know which of the code updates to keep for the future. Any help is greatly appreciated!
