Description

This means:

  • sadly add another boolean field in the participation table to mark contestants as unofficial
  • send this info to RWS
  • add a checkbox to the scoreboard that controls whether they are visible or not (if there is at least one unofficial participant).

Research direction

Start by tracing the participation table and the scoreboard code, then find the existing path that sends contestant data to RWS. Map how an unofficial flag would flow through those three areas and check whether the scoreboard already has participant visibility controls. Done means unofficial participants can be marked, the information reaches RWS, and the scoreboard checkbox hides or shows them when applicable.
