Description

Hey all,

I was looking to develop a couple of these packages here further to be able to deploy some models deloped using R frameworks(caret, h2o, etc) using aws(sagemaker). To that end, I was looking to contribute to the ec2 and s3 packages and develop a package for sagemaker. It looks like contributions to these packages have ebbed and flowed in the recent months if anyone could bring me up to speed with the status of these packages I would greatly appreciate it!

Research direction

The issue names the ec2 and s3 packages and proposes a new SageMaker package for models developed with R frameworks such as caret and h2o. Start by reviewing the current status of those packages and the project’s contribution guidance; no files or tests are identified. Done would require an agreed scope and implementation plan for SageMaker support.
