What to do after spinning up a wildebeest server?

I followed the steps in the Getting Started and Access Policy pages to spin up a server and log in. But I do not see how to connect to other servers like mastodon.social and subscribe to users from there. Is there any help pages on it? If there are none and people help me with this and other newbie info I can put in a PR with help pages. Thanks in advance!
