Description

Support for meeting recording, either on the client or in the server.

> It works by launching a Chrome instance rendered in a virtual framebuffer and capturing and encoding the output with ffmpeg. — [Jibri, JItsi BRoadcasting Infrastructure](https://github.com/jitsi/jibri#readme)

Similarly,

- [plugNmeet Recorder](https://github.com/mynaparrot/plugNmeet-recorder#readme) uses Chromium and FFmpeg.
- [Nextcloud Talk Recording](https://github.com/nextcloud/nextcloud-talk-recording/blob/main/docs/installation.md) uses Firefox and FFmpeg
