Description
In Golang, support for custom entropy sources is being systematically canceled:
https://github.com/golang/go/issues/70942
https://github.com/golang/go/issues/76856
Under the guise of security, of course. And I have no doubt that this process will cover absolutely all crypto algorithms. I don't have adequate answers about the reasons for what is happening, I don't see even the slightest desire on the part of their team to discuss what's happening, consequently, distrust of their further implementation is growing and the question arises of finding reliable alternatives.
Therefore, I'm interested in the question: do you plan to keep all the details of your current implementation in the long term, to support custom sources of entropy?
