Description

Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First inspect the repository's existing cluster and host connection behavior to determine whether a single-host proxy is already supported. Clarify the expected client configuration and routing semantics before implementation; done should mean clients can connect through one host with the behavior covered and documented.
