Add SOLID design principles to the programming guide

I would like to propose that we add a section in the Programming Guide for how to apply the SOLID design principles.
I have been a big proponent and advocate of SOLID design principles and it has greatly helped improve the design and code quality of the projects that we applied it to.
It makes testing of the code easier and better which leads to the improved quality.
