Description
I am getting the follwoing error , I have Scala 2.11.6 , java 8 and sbt 1.1.6. Can you please help me figure out why I am getting the following errors while running STMT with the xample script?

error: error while loading AnnotatedElement, class file '/usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64/jre/lib/rt.jar(java/lang/reflect/AnnotatedElement.class)' is broken
(bad constant pool tag 18 at byte 76)
