Research direction
Start in pattern/text/init.py at _read, load, and lemma, using the reported RuntimeError and the 10,000-token loop as the reproduction context. Determine what behavior should occur when lemma is called repeatedly, then add a focused regression test and confirm it works in the stated Python and notebook environment.
