Error while installing through setup.py

I downloaded the zip and unzipped the pattern-master folder to my system.
Then I ran the python setup.py install. After a bunch of modules were installed, it halted because of the following issue:

It seems that my system lacks some tools given there but then I am quite new to building Python modules and the like. What possibly could be the issue here?

Start with setup.py's dependency and installation declarations, then inspect the mysqlclient build output and the referenced Windows path. Reproduce the stated python setup.py install command; done means installation completes without the reported missing-path error or the required environment details are documented.
